This is a song I’ve wanted to cover for a long time and it still feels surreal to finally be sharing it.

It pushed me more than I expected. There were moments I wasn’t sure I would get it where I wanted, but I stuck with it. What you’re hearing is my full take on it, start to finish. Every part was performed, or programmed, by me, and I handled the mixing and mastering myself.

But more than anything it’s the lyrics that stayed with me from the first time I heard Someone You Loved. There is something raw and universal in them, loss, connection, and that quiet weight regret. I did my best to channel my own similar experiences, and hopeful I did this song justice.
